Prior to joining the Two Rivers YMCA, Gunnar came from the Edwardsville YMCA in Edwardsville, Illinois serving as Director of Aquatics and Youth Development. He has an extensive career working in the aquatics, youth development and overnight camping at YMCAs in Wisconsin, Kansas, and Illinois. Gunnar has a Bachelors in Accounting and Business Management from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and holds various certifications focused on aquatics and child safety. Gunnar enjoys interacting with members and staff during their time at the YMCA. When Gunnar is not in the office, you can find him in the pool swimming laps, walking outside, or watching a good movie.
